šŸˆ Georgia edges past Alabama to No. 4 in AP poll

Just thinking out loud from watching Gsme day yesterday..the comments made about bamas schedule suggesting T&AM is our best win. Just wondering why Clemson's schedule is not ever scrutinized....am I wrong in saying that their biggest win is against T&AM?

If they lose, it will be. It was already scrutinized at the beginning of the season.

You've touched on something here I've not seen anyone mention. With all of this schedule talk and the subject of teams faced in out of conference games the two notable OOC games Clemson will have this season? A&M and UofSC.

A Clemson loss and they’re done. It would be to an I ranked team. Combined with no quality wins, they’d no-doubt fall behind us. Problem is, they haven’t lost. Weak schedule, but did play 2 SEC teams for OOC. Better OOC slate than many. We’ll have to check at the end of championship week, but I’d bet money they will have had the easiest path to the final 4 since inception. If you count wins vs ranked teams, or total wins/losses of opponents, other measures? Curious to see how they end up.

I know it is one of Clemson OOC,USCe but it has always been one. Just like UGA and GT it's one of there in state rivalry.

Better than bamas OOC.... one loss might sink Clemson...
One lost might well have sunk bamas....evento #1 team....
I think Oregon/ utah might be our #1 problem.....along with loss of Tua...
Lsu should handle UGA....osu has to survive an improved Michigan....clemson...no competition...
Of course...now we have to survive....AU...

Especially when your coach has said on more than 1 occasion that Mac gets too down/emotional after bad play. (Saban called him MacEnroe).
That's not entirely accurate.

Behind the scenes, one of Alabama's coaches has at least once jokingly compared the Crimson Tide's third-string quarterback to a well-known former tennis player.

Mac Jones is somewhat similar to tennis legend John McEnroe, that coach apparently said.

Though not anywhere near the level of McEnroe's old temper tantrums, Jones will sometimes react poorly when something bad happens during practice. But, like back in the day with McEnroe, Jones can be very good when he's locked in and not dwelling on something negative that may have happened.

Saban mentioned he played with a lot of emotion back in SEC Media Days but it has not been something we've heard him say repeatedly.

ā€œWell, Mac has made a lot of improvements,ā€ he said at SEC Media Days.

ā€œHe’s a very bright guy. He’s got good knowledge of the position. Mac is a very emotional guy. So we like to try to get guys to play with emotion, but not be emotional, because sometimes when you get too emotional, you don’t make good decisions, and that’s one of the things that we worked really hard, and he’s made a lot of progress in that area.ā€
