| FTBL Gameplan PPV

I was thinking about getting the College football gmaeplan thing on Directv, but I only want it to watch SEC teams and of course our beloved Bama. Have any of you guys ever gotten it? And do they show enough Bama games for me to pay the $110 for it?

Thanks,
Cory

It is worth every penny, especially those saturdays you have to just sit on the couch and watch football all day long. it's freakin' heaven.

Now we just need Raycom and CTSN to broadcast in HD and I'll be one happy camper.

What about the ESPN Gameplan? Think all the Bama games will be on it? I live in Florida and they dont like to show Alabama. But then again they did show a few last year. But I have cable and would have to get the ESPN Gameplan. Any help . Thanks !

I never ordered ESPN GamePlan before does it include all the paperview games or would that be extra cost?

You can get a single week for like $20 or you can get a whole year for like $120. Either way, you get all the games for that week unless there is a blackout for a game in your area. If you get if for your home, you can only watch it from your home location. If you get their 360 package (I think that's what its called) then you can watch the games on the internet. The quality is somewhat lacking on the internet broadcasts, though.

Hope this helps.

Check with your cable company on the week-by-week purchases. DirecTV does not offer that option. I have to buy the entire season of ESPN Gameplan.

By all means check with the cable company first! I did not realize that satellite viewers didn't have the pay per week option.

Since you are in Georgia, it includes all of them.

I did not realize that was dependent on the state in which you lived. Do you not get all the games in Alabama?

PPV games are blacked out in state. So, when we face Tulane, Alabama residents won't be able to get it on Gameplan and still have to pay the PPV cost.

On a slightly different note, I've enjoyed the service ESPN360.com provides during the season as well.

Raycom will broadcast in HD this season.

With me living in Wyoming would I get all the Bama games??

Cory

Yeah you're good man as long as we're not playing Univ. of Wyoming. I live in Houston, so last year Gameplan didn't cover our game with UH. One thing that was weird was the ULM game was not covered by Gameplan in any region. I think it had something to do with the PPV start time, I don't know maybe someone can expand on it because my memory is foggy. I think that was just an abberation though.
