šŸˆ šŸ”„ Hot Seat 2025 / Coaching Carousel: Golesh to AU, Kiffin to LSU.

Turns out it should have been a penalty.
But the Big Ten on Sunday cited an NCAA rule under "Unfair Tactics" that reads:

I guess this makes the third time this rule has been cited; this season alone.

LSU: Brian Kelly's attorneys have requested the full $54 million buyout that is owed as outlined in his contract, and have asked for written confirmation by 5pm today that LSU will "fulfill its contractual obligation" to pay the full sum, or Kelly and his legal team will "pursue all available legal remedies," according to The Advocate.

Good job!!!!

Golf got him fired..
Yeah, the stories come out of the woodwork after he was toast, and after anyone is left to defend him; however, it's my understanding the team stays at the Grand National in Opelika for home games. The course is right there, he could simply walk outside and see guys hitting balls. And, if the athletic department doesn't have Sunday meetings, isn't a standing tee time best scheduled for Sundays?

I figured he'd be in church. Preaching sermons on Sunday...🤔

LOL, this is amazing. This may just top auburn trying to break up the family of the HC by manufacturing an affair to avoid the buyout. My understanding of all this is, Kelly was willing to take a lesser amount from the start under certain conditions. Instead, LSU tried to trap hm in a morals clause that centered around his divorce, yet legally, was not going to stand up to any contract wording. That of course, pissed him off. So now, instead of just cutting bait, they've not apparently gone down this road and are going to pretend that he was never actually (formally) fired, so now, they can fire him with cause. What a circus. LSU is an absolute joke. Enjoy paying that full amount now, shitbags.

They might as well get ready to hire the interim head coach... nobody may take the job..

Well, as @TerryP stated earlier in another thread or maybe this one, if they are even considering Wilson for the position, then the culture would be back to normal. Especially when you consider his role and the interim/new AD's role is the sexual assaults coverups that took place in the past. You can be a shitty person with no morals, we don't care! Just win!!!
