šŸˆ Fall Camp, 2025: News, notes, observations : 'Meat Church' cooks BBQ for the Tide.

Special teams:

We pretty well knew Talty was going to be where he was. I've read some reports on the LS: read a former LS's father opinion and he was really high on the guy.

I've seen more than Williams and Adams mentioned on returns. I don't know if we'll know who it's going to be until FSU.

I don't know anything about the holder.

I think Red Morgan is going to see a lot of snaps this year. I like what I have seen out of him. He reminds me a lot of Ohio DeVonta Smith.
You may be right considering how much rotation there was last season. You'll need to define "a lot." šŸ™ƒ

Cam Calhoun is a guy to keep an eye on...he can play the HUSKY position.

There is lot of flexibility between husky and safety positions. That's why I feel like the third CB position is going to see three players playing that position all season long. It depends on matchips

With how open offenses are these days I think plenty of opportunities for a safety. An active ball player can make a name for himself. Exactly how people know Bray Hubbard's name.
Rotation. I know I'm harping here but it is the question we don't have the answer for; yet. When I think eight man rotation, maybe nine, it's a wrench thrown in ... and here's why I say that.

Let's assume Guz has it in his mind he's going to attack Red when he's on the field. Okay, that's where he sees a weakness but how is he going to be able to game plan around attacking Red? I am beginning to see that rotation as an "ace up the sleeve" with Linguist.

So, when I see "I want him to have these numbers _____" when talking about one of the back four I get a bit confused. Hell, we've seen many games where some guys weren't targeted, period.

IE: Rotation questions.

Jump back to the end of last season when Smith showed up against Michigan. Now, with that in mind, we're all wondering if he can be consistent in that role on the DL this fall, right?

In the same light, the RB rotation has my attention. Yes, I'm with the depth chart posted on Jam being #1. It's #2 / #3 where the "hold up," happens.

Like Smith, we saw Young start to break into his own at the end of last season. Then we leave spring and summer and a lot of buzz is surrounding Daniel Hill: he's shown the ability to break tackles like Young, and Jam, haven't shown.

I'm left wondering if we see Hill take carries. Not only from Young, but from Miller as well. He won't go 80 and I'm good with converting 3's.

A change from last season.

The first practice is going to be open to the media and they're said to be getting more time for photo's, video's, etc. Tomorrow should be a "media" days with the number of highlights we'll likely see.

I wonder how many of you guys will still be in bed when they start practice...

What time do they start?
