Props to the coaching staff as well. They had a great game plan. Unfortunately we couldn't run the ball, but we hung in there anyway.

This game could have gone either way. If we stop them on 4th and 4 up one touchdown - there's a good chance we would have pulled it out.

They made the plays when they had to. Hats off.

Our defense played extremely well at times.

By the way, am I the only one that REALLY wanted to strangle those two bozo commentators? What jerks. It'd be nice if they would hide their enthusiasm a little more whenever LSU made bid plays. They spent 5 minutes talking about how LSU blew it with the trick play try on 4th and inches - rather than giving props to Arenas for the great return. What a couple of a-holes! They seemed so reluctant to give Bama credit for anything. And, by the way, that WAS a beautiful CATCH regardless of what those idiots in the replay booth ruled.

No excuses though. We had it and we blew it. We'll improve.

Considering this is one of LSU's 2 or 3 best teams EVER and probably doesn't even rank as one of our 50 best - I'd be a little worried about the future if I was them. But - thank God I'm not!
