[It Takes Eleven]

Read this last week but didn't have time to respond and just now remembered when the topic of Guy's DDD came up on the burger thread. Yeah, Manci's is good (which is the DDD connection). It was one of those places like the Original Dreamland to me in a way... when I lived in Daphne for all those years, I went some, but not as much as I should have. Sorta took it for granted, like I do now with Dreamland and Archibald's. When it closed several years back, at the time, I regretted not going more than I did. Then of course it reopened, which is sorta rare in those instances, and I think it's back on solid footing again. I'm not down there enough to eat there regularly these days, but I'm happy it is still there and hopefully will be for another generation, at least.

On Callaghans, one might could argue their Mobile leprechaun t shirts are better than their burgers... but I like both. I don't wear the shirts, but my wife gets one every year or so.

My wife has gotten a few T-shirts from Sunset Pointe in Fairhope over the years. Her first was a dig at me and my storytelling pace/volume, reading "Just Get to the Pointe".
