That the "Drag" was back on Saturday when we played Clemson? What is the "Drag" you ask?
The Drag is when a defensive player completely OWNS whomever he is tackling and crawls an extra couple of yards over the top of the offensive player. As he crawls on all fours, looking down field, his manhood "drags" across the torso and helmet/facemask of the whipped offensive player, as he lays there on the field praying that the game will end soon. It sends a clear message of who is in control and the intensity on the defensive side of the ball. Basically says "We OWN YOU and there is NOTHING you can do about it!" I noticed it...and I liked seeing it. I hope to see more of the drag.

I don't know about the Defense "Drag", but I did bring up the Offense "Drag" to a few clemson fan behind me when Ingram Dragged a couple of their d backs for a couple of nice gains. :lol:

gumboman, back in my high school days, our DL actually had the "drag" as the finishing part of their tackling technique during drills. They called it by another name, but I can't remember offhand. The coaching staff encouraged it, as well as sticking the helmet "in the googer"--the spot right beneath/under the chin and above the adam's apple.

And yes, Teague13, we had facemasks back then, or else the "drag" would have really been humiliating for the player on the receiving end of it.
