The University does their own screening outside the NCAA and most notable BEFORE bowl games where the NCAA would be testing. Reason being that they don't want to lose a player for 50% of the games next year. This is also why the players are not allowed to travel with the team, since any player traveling would be tested by the NCAA. The University test are handled under the University policy of rules (team rules). The punishment is delivered according to the guileless set forward for the offense.Do we know if they failed a drug test... no. Will we ever know what really what down... most likely not. Does it really matter, no... 'cause regardless of what they did, they will not play. However, if I was a betting person, I'd lay odds on the failed University Drug test for non-PED.
