This makes as much sense to me as Romney doing a PSA on dog leashes. Based on what I've read from him over the last few years I'd call him left of, left of center.

David Hogg is even less qualified for that position as Noem is for Sec of Homeland Security, which is saying something
From Ridge to Mayorkas; who would you look back on and say, "that one was qualified?"

IF you look, you'll find about the same number of people with law backgrounds as the number with governorship backgrounds (Noem being one) and then one who came up through the rank and file of DHS.

While social issues will get their mention in the next election, neither Britton nor Levine will be on the ticket.

We'll see candidates make their 'stance' on those issues, sure. Suggesting someone like Britton would make a run? It's not a serious suggestion.

I'm thinking there's way more sickos out there that would wholly support these face(s) of the Dem party as they are representative of the values they adhere to.

Noem has eight years as a Congressman. Six years as a governor. Four years in the state house. 53 years old.

Hogg is 24 and, according to his Wikipedia page (which is most likely self-edited), "he has dyslexia, ADHD and PTSD".

You may not like Noem's positions on issues, but your absence hasn't dulled your love of hyperbole, or your distaste for reality.

I'm not sure what to make of Hogg and Parkland. I'm not disputing he was on campus when it happened. I do have an issue with the narrative.

If I'm talking with a guy who tells me he was a survivor of he Kent State shooting I'm going to ask, "where were you?" "Where did you get shot?" If he tells me he was in a classroom on the other side of campus? He was in the proximity of a shooting, he wasn't a survivor of a shooting.

From what I can tell, the same applies to Hogg and Parkland.

For those theorists: considering today's news it's ironic his dad worked for the FBI.

I wonder if we'll start reading more accounts from classmates at Parkland. They weren't putting Hogg in a complimentary light the last time I read through some.

It's pretty clear to me his Wiki page is a self-promotion. Go read it. He was in a closet, heard pops and and a janitor steered them away from the shooter. He interviewed people in the closet while it was going on.

If you vote for D, that's your values. Doesn't matter, the majority wears this hat. 80 million plus voted for this in 2020.
I think that applies to those who vote a straight party ticket. With more votes for POTUS than Senate/House races? That tells me some democrats voted for Trump.

It's unfortunate a lot of people can't (or won't) learn about a person's stance without their introduction including, and being judged upon, one of a few letters.

I don't and I'm against pretty much everything their party ran on but I think a lot of people who identify as democrats disagreed as well which is why Republicans have control of the government. I think party leadership has drifted left of most member's values and they did so because of the vocal minority of their party.

She’s not qualified for Sec of Homeland Security no more than Hogg is qualified for his position.

Dems lost because the people that voted in 2020 stayed home either because they disagreed with Harris being rammed down our throats and/or the Palenstine thing, the far left voters is who I’m talking about.

Had the dems convinced Biden not to run for reelection way sooner and they had a primary I think the results might have been different
