Nothing I was saying is about what is normal or should be or to make light of the impacts on peoples lives.  I was saying IF you shut everything down it is common sense that there will be less deaths due to car accidents and/or flu etc...  The ruining of businesses and impact on peoples ability to make a living if you shut down is common sense (that does not mean it is ok).  If you shut things down people are going to lose their businesses and jobs.  I was not trying to make light of the impacts of shutting things down.  Sorry if that is how it came across.
