People pull the numbers they find that aligns with their narrative.For me I have said the heck with all of this and what news organizations and politicians are reporting and I try and find multiple raw data reports. I try and correlate these to form my own conclusion or at least the general trends because none of data matches perfectly. Throw on top of that that states do not report the numbers the same way and with the same timing.
