I find it interesting that people blame others for not doing enough.  How much is enough when no one has faced this before?  Hindsight is 20/20.  IMO, the best way to evaluate performance (and no one is perfect, there is always more that can/could have been done) is to compare results to others (we do it in sports, in business, in life).  This was posted the other day regarding the media stirring panic about the number of deaths in the U.S. exceeding all other countries, including Italy who has been the poster child of disease impact.  When you compare the U.S. to other countries on a common scale, the U.S. has done a pretty good job battling the disease.  If all things were equal, you would expect larger countries to have more cases and deaths than smaller countries.  The map shows how Italy compares in size to the U.S. and then shows an analysis using a common baseline - deaths per million people.
