The population of New York alone doesn't seem to fit the 3 day narrative...I've yet to see the flu related death numbers for New York.  2017 numbers support 4500 for flu/pneumonia.  Wasn't this the headline 3-4 days ago?

California has a population of 2x New York, yet their COVID-19 related death rate are an order of magnitude less, 36 vs ~700.  Texas has almost 2x the population, they're reporting 16 deaths for 4/13.
