There needs to be one. Not today, not in two months but there definitely needs to be one unless its going to end up like the 9/11 Commission and nothing is done about it anyway. You can argue that the Dems just wanted to impeach Trump, that's whatever but that has nothing to do with his own lies, his own incompetence. This idea that "oh if the Democrats would have just shutup and not care about Trump's corruption maybe he would have been able to concentrate on a pandemic that he was warned over and over about" is beyond silly. He wasn't so concerned that it every interfered with his thousands of hours of Fox News watching or Tweeting, or the countless lavish parties he's thrown or his bazillion golf trips during that time.
And I will quote a "wise man" who once said "Leadership: whatever happens, you're responsible. If it doesn't happen, you're responsible."

Yes you did and many people did because the President of the United States was saying it. Just like he says "don't trust what the media tells you, it's all lies" when he is the biggest liar there is. The point is he is the President, he has access to everything we don't. People were begging him to take it seriously. He did not. Just like members of Congress got briefed on it and then turned right around and publicly said it was nothing, while a the same time selling off their stocks because they knew what was happening.
