This would only support my belief that the slot players and the TE are going to be the break out players this year. A defense will allow quick slants to the slot or dump passes to the TE all day, before giving up the "explosive" homeruns. Slot-shots get the ball out quick, which helps the OL and the QB. "inside" passing is preferred by a defense as well, as support in more near. Who would not take 5-6 yards on a 1st down hook or slant all day long? And lets not forget the screens that we has seen. the Slot sliding in behind blockers will help as well. YAK will be a big factor, and we are recruiting well for this.
