I'm sorry for opening a new thread to do this; however, I wanted to congratulate all of you on the great win you all had this weekend!

I could not be more impressed with the way Saban has this team playing. So far you all have been the most physcial team I've seen all year, and you've easily handled two very talented football teams in Georgia and Clemson.

At this point I can only wish our team played as physical as you all do on offense. The physical play has really stood out to me and so much of that credit goes to your offensive line. Those guys have really had a great start to the season.

I know the season is still young and I know the team didn't quite finished out the game against Georgia the way Saban hoped they would. Nevertheless, you all have earned every bit of praise you all have gotten and congratulations are definitely in order.

I recently moved here to Charlotte and have to say that most of the USC, UNC, ECU, and NCST fans have been very classy. Clemson, not so much, but the rest have been fun to be around. I wore my script A tie to work uptown today and got a number of ROLL TIDEs. I'm sure all weren't from Tide fans, but got their respect nevertheless.

I recently moved here to Charlotte and have to say that most of the USC, UNC, ECU, and NCST fans have been very classy. Clemson, not so much, but the rest have been fun to be around. I wore my script A tie to work uptown today and got a number of ROLL TIDEs. I'm sure all weren't from Tide fans, but got their respect nevertheless.

While Charlotte is very much an ACC town with most of the love going to UNC there's a lot of us there who pull for a lot of different teams. I grew up in Charlotte and it used to be UNC and NC State only.

Anyway, I'm one of the few from Charlotte who still lives here. Hope you're enjoying your time here. It's a lot different than the rest of the South and a lot different than it was back in the 80s and 90s, but it's a great town all the same.

Thanks Swamptick. I've been a member of the board for a little more than a year now, but haven't posted much (I spend most of my time over on Cockytalk and the rest of my time working). My wifey grew up in Mcadenville, her dad still lives there, her grandmother used to live right on the outskirts of Charlotte. Nice place to visit... i don't know about living there though...
