my uncle is a friend/business partner of his. i got to hang out with him at wilhagens for the tennessee (5 overtime) game a few years back. we watched that whole game there with about 6 of us. that game was like a roller coaster ride the entire time. but "Touchdown" Terry Davis was extremely nice and very pleasant to be around.

Coach Bryant was famous for saying " A tie is like kissing your sister".Yet when Bama scored fairly late in the 4th quarter in this game, trailing 7-0 he kicked to tie the score. When asked after the game he showed his respect for Tennessee, saying that there was enough time left that he knew Tennessee would try to win the game, and he trusted his defense to get the ball back with enough time to score. Right he was, as usual!

Not only do I miss watching the Bogalusa, Louisiana, native run the wishbone, I also miss Coach Bill Battle.

Sure do wish the Tide would put another 10- or 11-game winning streak together against the Vols.
