This is not directed to anyone on this board, just some of the many "pessimistic" 'Bama fans around the Internet.

Were are you guys? What happened? Are you sad? Are you mad?

This season must really suck for lots of you. You must revamp your posting habits and modify them and basically change your whole pissy outlook if you still want to screw with 'Bama fans.

I know, I know, you are an Alabama fan, just a realistic one. You always wanted to make sure none of your many AuNeck friends thought you were an irrational redneck.

You always lowballed Alabama's chances in order to seem dignified and classy. You thought if you had hope or even wished for the best, it would lower your standing in the eyes of the nation and your AuNeck pals.

Seeming above the riff-raff that you consider to be the typical Alabama fan was your main concern, it is all about appearances to you and your type.

Well, this is my chance to tell all of you and your type that 'Bama fans don't want you now. We don't like you, and we want to vomit on your two faces when you come slinking around and praising Alabama now that they are doing well.

You are the worst type of fan and represent the worst of this great fanbase. Please find another team to latch onto. 'Bama fans can't stand you, you don't belong, and you aren't part of the process.

There are a handful that have posted here that have literally disappeared since the Clemson win. I see them lurking around at times, but not participating in the forum at all.

A friend and I were discussing this at the game yesterday. I think we were surrounded by a few as well. A whole group of people next to me would not even cheer, stand-up, or anything when we'd get a 1st down, INT, TD, nothing. They just sat there almost like they were waiting for something bad to happen :roll:. Heck one guy a few rows above me chanted out "Cmon BAMA you're playing like Auburn!!". I guess he doesn't follow football close. BTW, we were ahead like 21 pts at that time. :roll:

Unfortunately on my local car forum, we have a married couple that could probably pass for your guidelines in your post. Doesn't matter if we would of hung 50+ pts on UT, LSU or whoever, they still would have some sort of negative vibe from their posts. Pisses me off sometimes. :twisted:

I've learned to just ignore them. They have been Shulanized and I don't think they'll make it out.

I don't think I can classify myself as a pessimist, but I work hard not to be pumping sunshine all the time!!

This team made me a believer after beating down Clemson. NO other time this season did I think we would be unsuccessful following that game. I saw a difference in that team that we had not seen in some time. Dominating the opponent. And in the game we've won by a lot, and in the games we've won by a little, we have done a marvelous job of controlling LOS, TOP, and even the other teams' playcalling.

With that said, each game is a new season unto itself. We will have to overcome our own "satisfaction" with where we are, overcome what the other opponent does, even overcome suspicious officiating at times! I look at the season as just beginning, and that we've accomplished very little so far. This season can end with us at #1, or as an afterthought.

Good analysis, Bama Jama. They are Shulanized and Franchionized and Priced too. They were ashamed of Alabama and worried more about what they needed to say to appear "rational".

Some were so afraid that an AuNeck or someone in the media would ridicule them for supporting Alabama, they changed into anti-fans, basically.

There are too many fans out there like that. I know when JPW throws a pick or they see some seats empty in the greek section they get so excited they almost pass out. Its as if they need that negativity to complete a point they made at the water cooler probably five months ago. These people have no lives and I cant imagine living like that.

Despite the fact that I get nervous about some games (remember I am one of the posters who has been unfailingly HAPPY about our so called 'ugly' wins) I have to say that the following more or less sums up my feelings on the season.

Swamptick = Ron Burgundy.

"Mr. Burgundy!! You have a massive (male sexual reaction)!!"

"Oh....oh. This. It's just the pleats. It's an illusion. *whew* Let me just walk this off. NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!"

As you can see, I...I mean Mr. Burgundy was very happy about things.

Being a Bama fan who was 5 the last time we won a NC, I have to feel this way. When(yes, I said when) Bama gets a NC, which will be sooner than we all thought, I'll get to feel like my father and grandfather felt before me, proud to be a Bama fan.

I had an interesting series of posts with a Bama hater on the Ole Miss forum. After we beat them, there was a thread in which they were saying that we should not be #2 (which is like saying you suck but not as much as we do...I have never understood running down someone who beat you). I replied to the thread that Alabama deserved to be ranked #2 as much as anyone else...his response was that Florida/USC/PSU/LSU etc. would beat us. My reply was "they haven't yet so we deserve to be ranked second until they do." Again his response was classic - "Oh yeah? You gonna come back after you get a loss hung on you?"

I literally laughed out loud at that one. I replied back with the question "I never said we were unbeatable - just unbeaten; at what point does having a loss no longer prove we suck and merit a return trip to take my medicine? The SECCG? The BCS? If we lose in the BCS Championship is that proof that we are not #2 or proof that we are? What if we lose to UF and they win the NC? Do I have to take my medicine for that?"

All season long people have been attacking and belittling our accomplishments. Here is the before and after of our season

Clemson Before - they will thrash Bama
After - Clemson was overrated

Tulane Before - They had a week in Bham to focus
After - Bama didn't blow them out badly enough

WKU before - has a tough spread offense with a Notre Dame transfer at QB.
After - they sucked worse than anyone else ever

Arkansas before - Tough SEC road test, Bama loses to Petrino.
Beating Arkie at Arkie doesn't matter because they suck

UGA before - At Athens, UGA blackout will destroy Bama.
UGA After - UGA was overrated and overlooked us to boot.

UK Before - Best defense in the country will upset Bama.
After: UK was the worst 5-0 team in the country

Ole Miss before - Upset alert! Ole Miss is peaking! They won in the swamp! Nutt is a genius!
Ole Miss After: Ole Miss sucks - Their win over Florida was a fluke didn't prove anything Bama played them too close.

UT before: Upset alert! Fulmer owns Bama in Knoxville! Alabama has not won 2 in a row since The revolution and war of 1812!

UT is terrible - anyone can win in knoxville

Arkansas State before: They hung 83 on a team! They beat TAMU! Bama better look out!
Arkansas state is a nobody

Honestly, this is the scenario I could see playing out:

If we beat LSU it will be because LSU was down...they have already lost twice and had 50+ scored on them.

When we beat MSU it is because MSU stinks.

When we beat Auburn, it is because Auburn Stinks.

If we beat Florida in the SECCG, the SEC is down this year and UF was exposed.

We win the BCSCG, the entire nation is down and Bama never beat anybody all season!

Sounds good to me, Nate. 'Bama is going to be able to concentrate on stopping Charles Scott. Hopefully their air attack will be neutralized. If it turns out that way, which I think it will, it spells trouble for LSU.
