šŸ“ Bryce Young will push for the starting job at Bama? (Young sets new record Friday night.)

Elite QBs starting as freshmen are hardly asinine predictions.

Your track record OTOH.......

Predicting a QB that may or may not even be on campus next fall is going to be the starter is asinine.

I'm gonna go pout now that a dude that has been on this forum for a grand total of like 2 minutes wants to talk about my "track record."

I understand when people want to pump the brakes ....but young is THAT good. At some point next year he'll win the job. Ability, maturity, character, incredible upbringing , has torched some of best competition in the country, has the talent and intangibles.

There is no guarantee he will even be at Alabama lol

Let’s at least wait until he signs the actual scholarship instead of being a verbal commitment. If Tua stays (which I don’t think he will) he starts, if he goes, Young has Jones, Tuluia and Tyson ahead of him when he arrives on campus. Ask the question after A Day and then get opinions.

I'll give him a solid 30% chance. Tualia the same. Mac 40%.

I know it's all coach talk, but I genuinely think CNS likes Mac. The Arky game is a big deal because he's proven he's plenty capable under the lights.

On the other hand I know that CNS knows how big of a deal having a running QB can be. It's the ace in the hole. Bryce looks super comfortable running and passing... Next fall will be awesome and terrible... Awesome because we have the excitement of a competition but terrible because no matter who it is, there is no replacing Tua. I'll keep saying it - Enjoy it while we got him! RTR

And actually I see it as a Jones/ Young race. The only thing Taulia has is the same last name as Tua...he's just not as far along as Bryce. Mater Dei is a culture and program similar to Bama..just the high school version. The competition Young faces is as high quality as it gets, ESPN finally jumped him up the rankings were he belongs. It was a joke he was a 4 star as long as he was to be honest.

There is no guarantee he will even be at Alabama lol
Of course this is true. You can say that about any commitment, or any kid that signs with any school.

However, stating this tells me you don't know a lot about Young, his family, background, and what's been going on with him for A LONG TIME.

This isn't a limb you don't want to walk out on, Josh. It's getting to the point the tree can't take it any longer.
