Not horrible surprised but I honestly think they have way too many issues outside the coaching.

Jimmy Haslam bought the team in August 2012. He's fired 6 head coaches in less than 7.5 years.

They may have hired some questionable coaches over the years, but giving coaches a year to prove themselves doesn't make any sense, especially when you're taking chances on some of the hires.

The loss the the bungles was the final straw for Kitchens. Cleveland needs stability and with the current owners, that is not going to happen.

That's the thing. Kitchens was promoted way too quickly. From Running Backs coach to OC to Head Coach in something like 3 months. Maybe a few years at OC would have done him some good (and their O was much improved during the time he was OC) but that meteoric rise was pretty much showing that the owners know nothing about running a football team. And now they decide to make another wholesale change to everything just to fire the next guy after a year. I just hope they don't wind up with Tua as their pick this year.

The owner...Haslem family ....is also the major supporter of the Tennessee vols...one of them...
Has major voice up there in vols land....
Add that together....
The governor Haslem was ok Governor though for state

Cleveland=the mistake by the lake.

The first to be fired should have been the owners for they are out of their league as managers. They should stick to pumping fuel and screwing over the truckers as they did. the second thing is to try a trade all the pricks they signed on that team. Beckum is a punk that has made millions off one catch . The guy that takes over better come with a big stick.

Seems like Jerry Jones gave Garret more than enough time to make things happen. Cleveland on the other hand they just need to burn it down and start over.... Bad culture.

Cleveland went 5-3 at the end of last season after firing their HC and shuffling folks around. So, instead of realizing that the staff might be good enough as is to give them a year or two for consistency, they shuffle crap again only to fire that head coach after a year.

Their last winning season was 2007. Their last back to back winning seasons were in the late 80's. The Browns are a garbage organization and will be such until they have new owners.
