Like I said, it is ~7 hours from Bham. Adjust for stops. Longview is across the state from Shreveport. It is the difference in Tuscaloosa and Anniston.To make it in 5 hours from birmingham a person would have to drive over 90 the entire distance, without slowing down or stopping. Not possible.Its amazing what people will argue when it comes to driving times...I had someone argue that it was 30 minutes from Columbus to Grenada MS. I lived in Grenada at the time and moved there from Columbus. It was 100 miles and a 2Hr drive on the backroads.
