I was at the 1999 Iron Bowl. It was our first victory at "The Jungle". God love em, sometimes the Barners just make making fun of them so easy. The jungle? More like the pasture  ... Anyway after the game I am walking back to my Crimson Red 1999 Ford Ranger (cause Bama graduates only drive the best) when I see that my White Crimson Tide Flag had literally been cut off the window of my truck. To make it even worse, some Barners driving by actually laughed a little I think. So I had another one in the extended cab part of my truck so I got it out and yelled defiantly, "I have another one". Which I then install on my window and throw the little base piece from the other flag into the truck. And away I rode! I drove out onto that little stip of road that runs through the heart of their campus and then I went through a red light and down a road out into the woods. Thats the thing about Auburn, its like a alien space ship came along and dropped a school in the middle of freakin nowhere. Anyway as I went through the red light I threw that little left over base piece out the window as my good bye present to Barnville. I wish I was going to this game so bad I could spit.

My personal fav is 1985 yes I know way back right. I was just a kid about 11 in 85, but I rememeber my father and I just yelling RTR after that game really great game! Plus was a good time between a father and son. It something that we still talk about to this day and something I will never forget the game the ups and downs. The kick and the next moring my dad and I getting the morning paper and on the front was

I remember the paper calling it the greatest IronBowl of all time!

lots of great ones here. i def. remember the '99 game. Shaun playing through that ankle injury and pretty much putting the offense on his back. but i think i gotta go with '96. Coach Stallings last game. i was 10, i remember me and my pops just going nuts when Riddle caught the pass. my mom (who hates football) running in the room and telling us to shut the...well you know.....up. lol the last time she has ever been at home for the Iron Bowl. all the fam goes to one place (my aunts house this year) and its a great time. cant wait for this years, man i hope we can get em.

My best Iron Bowl memory was sitting in the student section at the 96 game, next to some TOTALLY hot chicks, and getting to know them a lot better after Dennis Riddle's catch and run into the end zone to beat the Goobers! It was an awesome game, and a great finish, and a wild, wild night in B'ham afterwards!

I really need to see Bama win another one. We have only three wins since that time against those dorks.

That's my favorite, too. It's the only Bama-Auburn game I've been to, and it was the best. It was the 50th meeting between the two schools. I don't think it will ever be topped. I will always be thankful to Mike Shula, Van Tiffin, Al Bell, Greg Richardson, and all the other guys on that squad.

I was a freshman at UA at the time. Seems like fifty years ago. :D
