TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball will look to improve to 5-0 in Southeastern Conference play, as the Crimson Tide faces LSU at Coleman Coliseum. The Tide is looking to improve to 9-0 at home this season and for the first time since the 2014-15 season (won first 10 home games), when the teams square off Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
The Alabama-LSU matchup features two of the best scorers in the conference, as LSU's KJ Williams ranks No. 2 in the SEC, averaging 18.5 points per game, behind Alabama's Brandon Miller scoring a league-best 18.8 points per contest.
The Broadcast
Saturday's game is set for a 3 p.m. tipoff and will be aired on ESPN with Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Jimmy Dykes (analyst) on the call.The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

About LSU
- The media panel of regional and national media picked the Tigers eighth in the preseason standings poll announced at SEC Tipoff in October
- Coach Matt McMahon has now won 43-of-50 games dating back to the start of the 2021-22 season. McMahon was 31-3 last year at Murray State and is 12-4 this year at LSU.
- McMahon won the last 19-of-22 conference games he has coached entering the weekend, going 18-0 last year at Murray State in the OVC and 1-3 in the SEC this season to date. In his eight years as a head coach, McMahon is 94-34 in conference games.
