Not much to it. Same as it is on the football side and other sports... some players are encouraged to find other spots so that their scholarship will be freed up. You may remember though last season, Pringle was suspended multiple times, including being left off the team plane to Spokane during the tournament (he had to get himself there). I don't think he left UA with animosity, but he needed a fresh start and took one close to home in SC.
