I know DirecTV has been talked about merging with other TV companies for a while...not sure how legit this one is, $100 per share seems awfully expensive for DirecTV.

I have heard this one as well. If it happens, I wonder how they fold Direct TV into U-Verse.

Since Comcast just bought out Time Warner's cable operation, the competition is getting more and more limited.

Is Dish on the outside looking in now?

Yup, its all hinging on NFL Sunday ticket.

I'm gonna cut the cord in a few months, I might regret it from a sports standpoint...I'll find out soon enough.
