As long as Urban Meyer is at UF, I hope they never win another game after this one.

If they play Auburn, I hope AU beats the crap out of them.

If they play ND, I hope ND beats the crap out of them.

If they play Iran, I hope Iran beats the crap out of them.

As long as this no class jerk Urban Meyer is coaching at Florida, I hope they never win another game. Up 42-6 against SoCar, all starters still playing with just over a quarter to play = total jackass jerk.

Yep, you would think HCUM would have learned something from the 2005 game when Prothro went down.

It's all about "style" points now. Got to keep up with the defenseless Big 12 and try to tack on 50-60 points.

I'm with you bear facts, if OU can't hang 50+ on some hapless team then it hasn't been a good day :!:

While I agree with the sentiment, if you are going to do it on anyone - Spurrier is the one to do it on.

Spurrier has always operated under the principle that it is his offense's job to score and your defense's job to stop them. If you cannot stop them, he will run it up just as often as Meyer - twice as bad if he can.

Spurrier beat SC 63-7 when he was at UF...and who can forget the 82-6 win over Central Michigan.

But, Spurrier usually had his 2nd and 3rd teams in once the game was in total control. He just kept running his normal offense and never went into a conservative/run out the clock style.

This is also the 3rd or 4th time I've seen Meyer do it this year.

I dunno...I remember Spurrier throwing it deep in the 4th with his starters in and a 40 point lead. Eveyone hated him back then. People have just forgotten. That was his M.O. back in the 90's.

There is very little difference between Spurrier and Meyer. Both with the same attitudes with SEC rivals, both continuing to score, both loved by the Florida fan base for those traits.

The biggest difference between the two is Meyer is a harder worker, especially on the recruiting trail.

I've always been of the mindset that if a team didn't like it, stop it.

I pretty much agree with you, with the exception of when you play creampuffs. There is no reason to lay 80+ on a MAC or sunbelt team. Sure, they are getting a paycheck, but the kids don't see that money. It's not the kids from North South Central State University College for the Blind who signed the contract for the check.
