Extra week of rest comes from where?  They haven't been resting this week, they've been preparing for Tx.  Granted, they might not be as banged up as they could have been but speculating on that is just speculation.

A comparison can't be made in Tulane not having a game before facing BAMA and Arkansas getting one extra day of practice/prep facing Alabama.

Weds. practice had Arkansas preparing for Tx.  The staff at Arkansas would have spent Sunday reviewing game tape from Tx and putting the final touches on their game plan versus Alabama.  Now, their schedule has be tossed.  Good coaches don't spent day after day practicing for a individual team, they'll spend 2, maybe 3 days working on a specific team they are going to face.

I'd bet that practices this week in Fayetteville are now back to fundamentals and they will go back to their regular schedule come the beginning of next week.

Arkansas has been a tough opponent, sure.  But, one of the reasons that they've played us so tough was because of the need Nutt had in defeating Alabama.  His desire to leave this game with a W rivals that of Croom and Tuberville.  In fact, I'd almost go as far as to say it exceeds those two.

Petrino won't have the same type of game motivation as Nutt had with Arkansas.  Ole Miss, on the other hand, will likely fit that role in the next few seasons.

You want a disadvantage to lay on Arkansas?  They don't have near the game day motivator on the sidelines now as they've had in the past.
