Yesterday at 5:22 pm CST, my daddy took his last breath here on earth and was welcomed with wide open arms into heaven.
He had fought hard since March 9th but at 93 years old, pneumonia, an UTI, congestive heart failure and pulmonary fibrosis was just too much to overcome.
My hero has said see ya later for awhile but not goodbye.
Thank you to everyone who has helped in any way while we have been on this difficult journey.
You have continued to honor your parents through your care for them both. You have my admiration.Wednesday morning, May 20th, mom and I will start back to Ohio. She will live with my wife and I or move into an assisted living facility very close to us. She is being taken from her home that we moved into in 1968, Imwas in the 2nd or 3rd grade. Mom is 91 and other from a loss of vision, she is in prett Good shape. Yes, I know the traumatic effect moving has on the elderly. Bottom line, I am out of options.
