Keep in mind that NEVER has Saban had the same staff for two consecutive years. Sometimes his assistants receive promotions to other programs and staffs; sometimes he fires assistants; sometimes he encourages assistants to pursue other options; sometimes assistants tell him to stick-it.  But the only stable or consistent thing regarding a Saban staff is someone will be gone and someone will be new each and every year.

If, as we hear rumors of, Saban will be quick to announce a new hire once Applewhite is announced at Texas (some have said a replacement will be announced before the weekend on-campus recruiting visits), then something tells me this possible move probably falls under the 'encouraged to pursue other options' category.  Just my personal supposition mind you.
