I have been told by some buddies Kiffin accepted the Arkansas. Anyone know if this is true?

I really doubt he would want that job very difficult to recruit there. That program is at rock bottom.

I don't see Kiffin surviving in Arkansas. Too much to do and too short a leash to do it. Nothing is happening in Fayetteville that would interest a single coach. If he's smart, he'll wait a few days to get a bigger list of available jobs.

Plane trackers were dead set on Arkansas being in Boca yesterday and actual pictures of the plane there have shown up. It appears at bare minimum somebody associated with the school was down there to talk to him. No real other reason to be there.

Other reports had him as the number two choice behind the Iowa State HC. It could happen. It can't be more awkward than Petrino calling the hogs at his first press conference.

I just can’t imagine CLK taking this job, it’s a disaster. Arkansas does not have the talent pool and you have to be able to get players from Texas as someone mentioned. I’d add Oklahoma as well.

Great hire for the offense but their defense will continue to be atrocious. I agree, though, I don't think there is anyone else out there they could get that would make much of an impact.
