Lance, you are being way too gracious. I guess you forgot the time I had to "keep walking" because I was too nervous to stand and talk.
And guess where I was? Pacing back and forth on the sidewalk between the 20's behind the Alabama bench. I'm telling you I walked a mile back and forth Sat. night. But it was all good!
You're too funny! My smile wasn't that big til at least end of 3rd Q and I needed my shades to hide my tears of joy.
Lance, I think when I first saw you we were only ahead 3-0. Needless to say I was still a wreck then. I don't know why this particular game was hell for me. I didn't sleep more than 2 hrs. the night before and woke up totally sick to my stomach. I never eat on gameday but rarely do I get sick as well.
Someone wrote about this game finally lifting the weight off of our program's shoulders. Nah, I think that qoute should say "lifting the weight off Delta's shoulders". I think I was the single person in crimson worried about Sat.
I actually think those days are behind me though. The real test will come Sat. I told everyone all along that if we get through Auburn I like our chances vs. Florida. I know we can beat them. I feel good about it and will enjoy it. This has been such a special year and no one can take that away from me and us.

I saw her before kickoff and she was so so. At least I didn't have to go and pace like I did when we played Ole Miss. We were pacing together at the end of that game. I did go down to the fence behind the Bama bench but only to RJYH. Loved it when the band played "We are the Champions".
And the bonus is I got an email from UA today saying I could order an SEC CG ticket so I'm in for Sat. RTR and the barn has been burned.
