Sheridan impressed me as I’m sure CKD was impressed with him as well from their previous time together.I wouldn’t judge Sheridan as a play caller from his time at Indiana. He didn’t have near the talent at his disposal that he does here. Also, we don’t know if Tom Allen didn’t handcuff as well, limiting him as the OC. What I mean is along the lines of Coach Stallings and his first meeting with the offense his first year, my sophomore season. He came in, told us “don’t turn the ball over, don’t put the defense in a bad position, and punting is good!” He then turned and walked out.
