I'm kinda over the Mac Jones experience. We need to get true game experience to Tualia, Mac isn't exactly lighting the world on fire as a back-up and I'd rather give someone who will start next year some snaps to get used to the game situations.

Just to add to this, I cover three high schools every week and every single one of them has a higher yard per punt average... including the one that has a running back punting...

Tua’s stats show you a few things.
1)The BAMA offense has transformed to take advantage of the weapons.
2) Tua is accurate as Hell!
3) The game itself has evolved.
4) For my HS career, in 20 starts, I had roughly the same stats as Tua has in the first 6 games of this year!😳

Can you imagine what Kiffin would have done with these weapons? :o

Check out the SEC stats by category. Some I wouldn't have guessed through week 7:
  1. J Burrow leading T Tagovailoa in most passing stats: Completion %, QBR, Yards per attempt,
  2. N Harris at #6 in YPC and B Robinson #20, expected that to be flipped. And ONLY 4 Rushing TD's between the two of them.
  3. A Jennings & T Lewis tied for 2nd in total sacks.

I believe Mac's our best backup, and the coaches must believe it, too. Barring an emergency situation, I think Taulia only gets enough appearances to preserve his redshirt. I think he's appeared in two games so far, so I expect him to get meaningful snaps in at least one more game and then perhaps hold him out in case he has to make an emergency appearance in another - or play him in the fourth game and take our chances.

RTR,

Tim
