The two teams traded runs all evening. From Head Coach Brad Bohannon

"It starts at the top, and obviously, I'm doing an incredibly poor job of getting us ready on Tuesdays. We've tried everything. We've tried taking a day off before; we've tried the light practice; we've tried a hard practice; and even the couple times we've won on Tuesday we really haven't played well. We played poorly again tonight. We didn't deserve to win."

How It Happened

  • B3 | The Crimson Tide loaded the bases to start the inning before William Hamiter worked a walk to score the game's first run. Andrew Pinckney then followed with a single to left to plate a pair and add to the Tide lead. (3-0, Alabama)
  • T4 | A grand slam by Matthew Golda gave the Blazers their first lead of the night. (4-3, UAB)
  • B4 | Tommy Seidl picked up his third hit with a one-out single through the right side. After advancing to second on a wild pitch, the Tide left fielder came around to score on an RBI-single to left from Drew Williamson. (4-4)
  • B5 | Bryce Eblin hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Dominic Tamez and retake the lead for UA. The Tide backstop led off the inning with a single to center and advanced to third on a pair of walks before coming in to score. (5-4, Alabama)
  • T6 | A bases loaded walk followed by an infield single scored two and gave the Blazers the lead once again. (6-5, UAB)
  • B7 | Hamiter led off the frame with a single to left and moved into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt from Eblin. With two-away in the inning, Hamiter used a wild pitch to come in for the tying run. (6-6)
  • T8 | A fielder's choice with one down crossed the go-ahead run for the Blazers. (7-6, UAB)
