Yes, I am glad someone touched on the type of individuals that are at that age now, than ones at that age 15 years ago. These kids born today don't have enough humility. Some of them are talented beyond belief, but Coach Bryant won lots of games with lesser talented individuals, who were disciplined and wanted to win.

All I asked for out of this season was to improve as we went along. It kind of goes without saying that winning some games at the end of season that we might not have won at the beginning is expected. That's not what happened.

But I'm not ready to blame Coach Saban and his guys for that lack of improvement. I am ready to blame some of the seniors and others who laid it down after they lost to LSU. Of course, it's just a theory, but I just don't think these guys played with nearly as much intensity at the end of the season as they did the first 8-9 games. Burnout? Letdown after the LSU game? It matters not what they excuse is, because there really isn't one that can justify laying down against MSU, La Monroe, and some of them, against our hated rival, Auburn.

Oh well, here's to 2008!!
