The OL issue is one of the evidences of Shulas bad recruiting - or at least player development. None of the recruits Shula brought in for the OL are making any significant contributions except for Andre...though one (Motley) is playing on the DL now...another left the team because Saban was too mean.Shula signed the #1 defensive back class a few years ago too...he signed 18 DB's in 4 years...but we have a true frosh starting. We have a walkon transfer from MTSU starting at LB and a converted wide receiver / defensive end starting at LB.Shula's recruiting classes were ranked 4th-6th in the SEC, based on oversigning a bunch of players who would never get into school, and others that left soon after arriving. Think about that. If you take the Mike Fords and Ricks and Jennings etc. Then you have players like Zo and Fanney who were signed twice so they impacted two class rankings...Our composite recruiting ranking over the 4 years of Shula based upon who actually got into school and contributed, would be around 8th or 9th in the SEC, above Vandy, UK, and MSU. Ole Miss would probably be above us over the course of the Shula years.
