The comparison that makes sense is that it was Stallings first year and the team improved as the season went on. I really thought that this would be the case with Saban. I thought that we would struggle at the beginning with a new coach and a new system. I thought we would see gradual improvement each week and would be heck to deal with in the last 4 games of the season. I am especially disappointed in the offense. I know we have the talent. According to Rivals we recruited the # 2 offensive line in 2006. I think our wide receivers are as good as anybody else. They have reeled in some errant passes this year either from inaccuracy or JPW under distress from lack of protection. I don't have the answers but I believe Nick Saban does and will get the job done.
