"I Love Lucy: Television Sitcom Premiered 64 Years Ago on Oct. 15
The black-and-white show, starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, ran from Oct. 15, 1951-May 6, 1957 on CBS and continued in a modified version as "The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show" until 1960."
Side note : The two that played Fred and Ether, William Franley and Vivian Vance Didn't like each other.
