💰 SPRTSBK 2025-26: WEEK ELEVEN: Games open Tuesday night-

Week two early peeks as lines open ...

OU opening -2.5 to -3.5 over Michigan.
Bama giving 37.5.
AZ St, is in Hattiesburg this upcoming weekend and open at -9.5 against State? Hrrmm.
VA Tech -3 over Vandy; at home for the Hokies?
UF vs USF -17.5 ...

BTW, the one thing I don't like about Labor Day weekends is it will always delay the following week. Less than half of the SEC have lines up (outside of your FD type sites which I don't use here.) I base the events each week on two things, top 25 and SEC teams along with a few marque matchups if they come up. This week, the AP isn't released until Tuesday at 2PM, ET. So, we likely won't be looking at lines posted until after that poll (unless I decide to make my own poll and go that way today.)

Last game for the weekend:

Knowing I missed something, because I tend to, I just doubled checked to see if I had all the top 25 teams in for this week. I missed three.

I thought about Utah but didn't think they'd jump that much. FSU and Miami? I haven't seen them. They haven't crossed my mind much less my timelines.

So, I decided to look. We may not have a line in all three games with those teams considering ...

Cal Poly is in Mormon country.

East Texas A&M is in Tallahassee. I don't think I knew that school existed.

I have heard of Bethune-Cookman. I think they are in Daytona Beach so a trip to Miami doesn't mean anything to those guys: just another trip.

This weekend has been entertaining the last few years when it came to the Iowa vs Iowa State game. Over the last two or three years we've seen the Over/Under total for the game in the low 30's. I want to say it was 31 in '23.

I was a bit shocked seeing Iowa score 34 last weekend. I remember Iowa scoring 41 against a bad team in '23. In their other 13 games they scored 26 in one: that was their season high mark. They had five games in the 20's. Just a bad offense. Hell, that Iowa team made it to the B1G championship. They were shut out. They went to a bowl game in Florida: shut out.

This week their total is 41.5. It's going to be 🔥
