I only put Alabama players on the list and I redone two coaches.

2 from Alabama, 2 from Auburn on College Football Hall of Fame ballot

Barrett Jones, Alabama, offensive lineman, 2009-12: Jones spent his first two seasons mainly as the Crimson Tide’s right guard. After breaking in with a national-title team in 2009, Jones was an All-SEC guard in 2010. The next season, he moved to left offensive tackle. Alabama won the BCS crown again, and Jones added to his accolades by receiving the Outland Trophy, which is presented annually to the nation’s best interior lineman. The Tide repeated as the national champ in the 2012 season with Jones in a new position. At center, he became the third Alabama player to earn consensus All-American honors twice. Jones also won the Rimington Trophy, which is presented annually to the nation’s best center.

DeMeco Ryans, Alabama, linebacker, 2002-05: A Bessemer prep star, Ryans capped his four seasons with the Crimson Tide as the winner of the SEC Defensive Player of the Year Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy, which is presented annually to college football’s top defensive player for his athletic ability and personal character. Ryans was a unanimous All-American selection in 2005.

Coaches List:

NO NAME:
compiled a 213-135-3 record in 30 seasons as a head coach, including two in the SEC. Franchione went 17-8 as Alabama’s coach in 2001 and 2002.

BAD GUY:compiled a 159-99 record in 21 seasons as a head coach, including 14 in the SEC. At his first stop as a head coach, Tuberville went 25-20 at Ole Miss from 1995 through 1998. He moved to Auburn in 1999 and guided the Tigers to an 85-40 record over the next 10 seasons, including an undefeated season and the SEC championship in 2004.

The Class of 2027 is the first to be considered with the minimum winning percentage for eligible coaches at .595. It had been .600. The change made Leach and Sherrill eligible for consideration. Sherrill has a career winning percentage of .599, and Leach is at .598.

Leach compiled a 158-106 record in 21 seasons as a head coach, including three in the SEC. At his last stop as a head coach, Leach had a 19-16 record with Mississippi State when he died on Dec. 12, 2022.

Sherrill compiled a 180-120-4 record in 26 seasons as a head coach, including 13 in the SEC. At his last stop as a head coach, Sherrill had a 75-75-2 record at Mississippi State from 1991 through 2003. Sherrill has more games, victories and losses than any coach in the Bulldogs’ history. Sherrill also coached Texas A&M from 1982 through 1988, before the Aggies joined the SEC.

Also among the nominated coaches is Jim Carlen, who guided South Carolina from 1975 through 1981, before the Gamecocks joined the SEC.

Personally, I have more issues with fRan getting in the HOF than Tubs or Cam.

So weird...

If you coach a college team you are HOF material if you hit the .595 mark.
If you play for the coach and have a .595 success rate in the classroom, ya ain't playing.
