Improved for 2003, the DC-200 scouting camera is
even more advanced and easier to use. A new 10-position rotary switch lets
you select delays from 15 seconds to one hour. It has a simple
standard-only operation with red light/green light assistance, and the
built-in interface lets you connect the optional Xpander™ unit
for more capabilities. The camera is an Olympus Infinity XB 35mm with a
date-time stamp, and it's equipped with a lens blinder that eliminates
flash washout. A photo count indicator shows the number of photos taken
without opening the enclosure. A passive infrared motion/heat sensor
detects heat sources up to 60 feet away, so you're sure to capture an
animal's image. Up to 500 events can be recorded on the microprocessor
between film changes. It has a weatherproof CamoTuff™ enclosure, along
with a battery level indicator and Outlast™ battery management system.
Powered by two nine-volt batteries, the camera has a built-in adjustable
attachment system. A Theft Stop™ security cable is also included.
