With a human voice helping him along, he takes the part of characters in classic novels. In the sitcom Frasier, the Jack Russell called Eddie, whose real name is Moose, appears to be not only clever but perfectly behaved.

All of this exposure has added to the popularity of this breed. Unfortunately, it has also led all too many people to believe that all Jack Russell's are just like their movie and TV counterparts.
