New Bama Commit: C.J. Mosley
January 9, 2010
The University of Alabama picked up another huge commitment today just before the US Army All-American game. C.J. Mosley, one of the nation’s best linebackers, was the first player to announce during the All-star game broadcast. Mosley chose the 2009 National Champions, over offers from Auburn, Stanford, Oklahoma and Florida State along with many others. The 6-3, 220 lb linebacker from Theodore, Alabama will become one of the numerous top linebacking prospects to sign with the Tide since Coach Saban arrived in 2007. Mosley has unbelievable speed for a player his size and has a knack for finding the ball in traffic. During his junior season, C.J. was accountable for over 170 tackles for Theodore high school. Mosley is one of the top 3 players in the state of Alabama this year, and is currently a Rivals 100 member. C.J. becomes the 23rd commitment for the 2010 class and is a 4 star prospect on all major recruiting services.
